Tour To The Palace Of Kadriah-Pontianak
Kadriah Palace seems like a forgotten Palace is a building of high quality wood, nan gracefully this historic Palace is a true forerunner of Pontianak town initially shaped the Sultanate of Pontianak. Although currently looks less well preserved, but the building of the Palace still exudes Kadriah strong charisma.
The story of the Castle from seroang Kadriah Cleric named Abdurrahman Alkadrie Sharif who sailed along the Kapuas River heading upstream to spread Islam in the year 1771. One came when groups of Sharif Abd at an intersection between the Porcupine, the Kapuas River is small, and the Kapuas River delta-shaped large precisely on Wednesday 23 October 1771, then they decided to open up the land and founded a new settlement in this place, the place which is now called Pontianak.
Shortly after the opening of the land and building new settlements, Syarief Abdurrahman ever crowned became sultan of Pontianak with the building of the Palace and mosque of Jami Kadriah vampires (currently named Sultan Syarif Abdurrahman) as the seat of Government of the Sultanate of Pontianak.
Currently the Palace is located in the administrative region of Kadriah Neighborhood In Bugis, district East of Pontianak Pontianak City, and is one of the main tourist destinations in Pontianak. It is quite easy to reach by either by land or river passing through the bridge of the Kapuas River.
